Risk (b. 1967, born Tommy Guerrero) is a pioneering Los Angeles street artist and one of the founding figures of the West Coast graffiti movement. Beginning in the late 1980s, Risk developed a bold, aerosol-based style characterized by wildstyle lettering, vibrant color, and a fearless approach to scale — painting freight trains, freeway overpasses, and the walls of Los Angeles with works that defined an era.
Risk's transition from the streets to the gallery has been seamless: his studio paintings, sculptures, and mixed-media works are collected worldwide and have been exhibited at major art fairs and institutions. He remains one of the most respected figures in the global street art community.
