Liu Shuishi (b. 1985) is a Chinese contemporary artist whose work bridges the classical traditions of Chinese ink painting with the visual language of Western modernism. Working in ink, oil, and mixed media, Liu creates canvases of extraordinary delicacy and power — landscapes, figures, and abstractions that seem to hover between presence and dissolution.
Liu studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing and has exhibited extensively across Asia, Europe, and the United States. His work is held in major museum and private collections, and he has been recognized as one of the most significant Chinese painters of his generation.
