Painting · Collage · Mixed Media

Marie Chang is a Los Angeles-based artist whose layered, collage-based paintings explore themes of identity, diaspora, and the archive. Drawing on personal and collective memory, Chang constructs canvases from accumulated fragments — photographs, text, fabric, and paint — that coalesce into richly textured meditations on belonging and loss.

Chang has exhibited widely across the United States and internationally, and her work has been acquired by prominent private and institutional collectors. The Sphere Gallery is proud to represent her work on the West Coast.
